In order to get good at something (anything, really), you need to constantly challenge yourself. There's no way around it. But these challenges also have to be reasonable. You don't want to throw yourself into something too big too soon. Especially at crafts. Otherwise, you might end up featured on the subreddit r/DiWHY.
"Ever try fixing things on your own? Didn't come out the way they were supposed to? Do you stand there questioning your whole life?" the online community asks in its 'About' page. If so, they are inviting you to post the results for everyone to see. But if you come across someone else's do-it-yourself endeavor that shouldn't have seen the light of day, you're welcome to share it on r/DiWHY too.
It's the place for sh***y projects. The ultimate proof that "just because you can doesn't mean you should."
We at Bored Panda already covered the subreddit here and here, but its 1.7 million members keep delivering, so we have to keep up!

At first I thought magnets... Then I noticed the subtle swelling and realize they've frigging pierced the bridge of their nose and installed a bar o_O. That's some hardcore dedication.
What does this person do when they want to sleep? Struggle with tiny optical screwdrivers at bedtime?
Load More Replies...1. OW. 2. I would get tangled on my clothes or bedding and end up removing the bridge of my nose. But each to their own, so long as it's not me!
this is soo old.. and i'm still amazed by it :) imagine: your galsses don't fall down, or slip down the nose when you sweat.. you can have all shapes of glasses .. it's so cool
Those piercings tend to grow out eventually, leaving a horizontal scar across the bridge of the nose.Adding extra weight to it can only speed that up.
This may look impressive, but it is NOT! This is too permanent and too dangerous for a plethora of reasons.
I can see those catching on the pillow fabric and ripping your face off when you turn over.
Not everyone can wear contacts. My eyes rejected them at 18 years of age. Due to dry eye syndrome and even with them help of eye doctors I can not wear contacts. I'm not alone in my battle other eye conditions exist that can't be fixed by contacts.
Not everyone can wear contact lenses, but this is extreme. And painful even to think of.
Load More Replies...In the olden days did they not have glasses that just pinched on the nose! probably spelling this wrong but Pince Nez!
Yes Brian, they did and spelt correctly. ('nez' being french for nose.)
Load More Replies...Well, there are glasses that you can clip and don't need any piercing. I'm thinking of Morpheus from Matrix for example.
It’s all fun and games until those things get infected and he loses half his nose.
Actually, it's so awful that I can't think of a remark that fits the situation.
my luck, i would have this done, and they would come up with a way to fix my eyesight the next week.....
It certainly has its benefits, don't fall off, don't loose them, reading in bed is great wouldn't have to take them off, could see straight away on waking, cheaper in the long, run no worries about if they suit you or matching, just EXCELLENT !! Practical piercing !
ow! so you have to unscrew them every night??? i nap a lot, they'd be broken in a week
I always wanted to hang my glasses from my eyebrow piercings. I think this is damned creative!
And when someone tries to steal your glasses, they will tear your face apart.
She had that pierced anyway, i see no problem with this, they can’t fall off your face, issue is how fiddly it is to take them off every night and back on again in the morning

the only one I like (the others are unbelievable) its the rug one but I hope the rug was not in good shape
I am going to try answer why. I will only be able to touch on a few possibilities though. 1) They have nothing else going on in their lives 2) They have EXTREMELY poor taste. 3) They have an extremely poor sense of humor and think what they made is fun or funny. 4) The fact that some if these items are for sale tells me the person thinks there are suckers waiting to be offered a "unique" item no body else in their right mind would have 5) um.... nah...I got nothing.
One can't help but wonder what kind of special morons exist in the world where they think it's "normal" to make things TO SELL out of old teeth, bits and pieces of human and animal parts, dolls with their faces cut out....man, I never want to meet any of the people who do these things as (their sick idea of) "crafts"!

So many conformist commenters here, so little sense of humor or the ability to tell when something was created with the intent of yanking chains.
