Oh how I hate those baths. Not because they look bad or are uncomfortable, but because of the gymnastics you have to do to clean behind them. Or to retrieve the soap/scrubber/book that you just dropped and now you're on your hands and knees dripping wet trying to reach into a tiny space. And there's nowhere to put your wine.

Safer if a runner is added... polished wooden stairs are slip/fall-hazards (my friend who fell down his stairs at home suffered a serious TBI and other injuries and has never been the same).

I find it depressing because I have the patience and arguably the talent but I rent a furnished place and can't change anything. I compensate by having an unhealthy amount of houseplants.
