Optipess, a Norwegian webcomic by Kristian Nygård, uses humor to deal with serious topics. Nygård told Bored Panda that initially he was inspired by comics like like Tintin and Sprint when he was growing up, and by Calvin and Hobbes and Lunarboom later one. As for how long it takes to do a strip? "I usually end up spending an entire day in total to make a comic. When pressed for time I might try to churn out a comic more quickly, often with varying results."
Nygård goes on to add, "Another thing I’ve discovered is that by succeeding in sharing something genuine - presented in a true and honest way - it will inevitably always resonate with someone, somewhere."

You were hungry but I gave you an apple to eat, You were grateful. Then you saw someone else who was hungry who was given a hot meal and drink by someone else. You still have the same apple that made you grateful before why not now? It is the same apple.

Poor guy! I felt bad when the fairy breathed all the bad thoughts on him!
Very appropriate. I wish I could make my wife understand that a damn pill does not stop the depressed thoughts.

Definitely true. Such things happen every single day. Just change "bottled message" to "social media", and there you go - the sad truth :/
Load More Replies...I think maybe he didn't mean it quit this literally. That someone would reply about spelling. Although maybe they would, but I think he meant you ask for help (in any form, social media, actual asking, etc.) and what you get is a reply that misses the point or does not address/help your problem.
Please... tell me this isn't true. If it is, send me his/her contact address - i'm gonna give them a hug in a heartbeat
This is it. This is how I feel. You are the depression. You live outside if the real world, watching it go by. Having fun. Being normal. But you aren't part of it. 😢 I need help...
I like how you illustrate the depression because that's exactly how I think of them too.

The last one made me think the guy is depressed because he got involved with the mafia.
The mafia are that bad because they are level elite depression.
