This Mom’s Requirements For A Babysitter Are So Crazy Someone Posted It On A Shaming Group
Looking for a babysitter can be tough, especially if you need to look outside the circle of close friends and family. You’re essentially inviting a stranger into your home to care for your precious progeny, so it’s perfectly understandable to have some basic requirements for this person, who you’ll invest so much trust in. This mom took this concept and ran with it to the hills. The post, originally found on Facebook but shared on the subreddit ChoosingBeggars, attracted the astonishment of many, who just couldn’t believe how delusional a person can be. Some of the requests, like having a car and driving license, are perfectly reasonable. But no traffic tickets or problems with the law? This could also be forgiven if she didn’t immediately propose tax evasion while offering her minuscule payment for all these services, which also include teaching her children a language, taking care of the two pit bulls and paying for snacks too.
The final request sheds some light on matters, this mom is clearly accustomed to living with a certain amount of cognitive dissonance. The thread sparked an interesting discussion about acceptable rates for childcare, as well as some funny observations about the sheer nerve of this deluded mom.

It's a trap: she'll immediately be in breach of contract, as soon as she accepts her first under the table cash, no tax deducted payment, since number 7 clearly states "no problems with the law."

100% attendance under the worst conditions ever, but with no promise of regular work, and she must be willing to pay for the children's "snacks" and $10 an hour for three children, and be an english (white) person. No wonder she's a Trump fan, she's a self-entitled creep. She also doesn't understand that no one with those qualifications would accept such a horrible proposition.

Must be a Trump fan and have a bachelor's in child care. No run-ins with the law. Does Trump University offer this degree? Ironic that the Donald would be rejected for this position for his "run-ins" and his "university" was adjudged to be a fraud - which is another crime!

There is such a thing as a degree in Early Childhood Education...that may be what she meant. However, specialists like that can demand pretty good salaries - better than most teachers.

I'm surprised that people haven't noticed that she's trying to hire a nanny AND a petsitter for $10/hr. I bet she has a bumper sticker that says "Repeal the 13th"

Cash payment is fine if you are working very part time and not making a lot of money. I am payed in cash and find it more convenient. For something like this though it is super sketchy.
