I Asked Different Artists To Make PSAs About Coronavirus And Here Are The Results
I spent the last few weeks rallying designers, tattoo artists, muralists, animators, cartoonists, and illustrators to create critical messaging about the Covid-19 pandemic. There are now over 60 artists from 9 countries working with me on the project we are calling EraseCovid.com.
The art is available to purchase as posters, greeting cards, postcards, and more. Proceeds are split evenly between the artist, printer, and our official charity partner... MusiCares Covid-19 Relief Fund, which gives direct support to those in the music industry during this difficult time.

Cats for Crushin' COVID - priceless! I love the bubble where the cat is "licking" his paw.
weak havoc in different cities if possible. don't wanna be getting each other sick, right?
And grocery workers, grocery deliverers, pharmacy workers, shelf stockers and more - all the essential workers risking their lives for us as well - except they only make starvation/minimum/ low wages and probably don’t get health coverage. These people should be given a million bucks each right now for doing these jobs.
Yes! So glad it's not just me who remembers the other workers out there.
Load More Replies...And groceries! Buy ahead and quarantine items you don’t need right away - and wash down everything, or take things out of outer packaging if possible without contaminating them too and toss the outer packages. If you get groceries delivered by amazon or locally, same deal. Several people handle your items befor left at your door. Including the plastic shopping bags. It’s hard. After retrieving delivered groceries, wash down the doorknobs and your deadbolt or other features. If you bring in your bags, then shut your door, anything on the bags is on the door now. Such a pain, and scary. Note: the virus will probably live longer on frozen items per an MD on the news. Hard to wash off, but cold temps are CV19 friendly. Stay alert and stay safe everyone!
I love the effort, but Covid-19 is the name of the disease the virus causes, not of the virus. So Covid-19 doesn’t survive on surfaces, Sars-Cov-2 does. In any case, wash everything or at least don’t touch it for many days.
Clothes come off in the hall, into a pillow case and straight into the washing machine!
The ability to keep ones distance is dependent on whether there are idiots among those who are within range. I had to finally go to Safeway myself recently. I’m in a 55+ community and almost everyone is senior/elderly except me (58). I was super careful myself, but about 50% of the old men (I just realized there were only men in the store -except me and the cashier) either weren’t aware or didn’t care and came very close to me when I couldn’t avoid them in time. Really annoying. But almost all were masked. The cashier was uninformed and a risk to herself and others, too. She was wearing gloves, not changing them while checking people out, handling everyone’s items - it would be safer if she had no gloves but used sanitizer between customers. It’s not hard. The most ridiculous thing was the Press and Seal plastic wrap on the card machine. Poeple touch the keypad and the plastic doesn’t get changed, so a bare device cleaned frequently would be safer. Not going back, I hope.
he's saving the baby toilet papers from the hoarders
Load More Replies...I tried using a backscratcher type thing (tried a clean plastic fork, too) to use instead of my hand - it started to become automatic, and made me realize how often I touch my face at times. I just had to make sure I didn’t touch the part of fork/scratcher that touched my face, and had it in a mug so it didn’t touch anything. But I live alone so I only do this after I get food delivered etc.

Plus an overwhelming urge to travel and set up your itinerary so you have to change planes in Atlanta.
Load More Replies...Turn off the water with the clean towel? Nope, it's better to use something else.
As I was scrolling down I thought it said violence instead of vigilance. I guess it's a good thing I'm not designing these
As someone originally from Escondido that also loves this kind of artwork, thank you.
As an artist, I decided to use my creativity to make my own drawing :D It's a bit more serious, I never use color, and I didn't try too hard on the details but I think it turned out okay XD IMG_202003...e2ccce.jpg
Why is most of this artwork done in the style of the 1940s/1950s/1960s ? Target group boomers? ;-)
A lot of these are great. I thought too many were about hand washing. Yes, it's super important however fewer posters would still have gotten the point across.
