Interview With Artist
In case you haven’t stumbled upon an artist from the UK called Barmy Chip Witch, well, here’s a quick introduction. The artist is currently in a long-term relationship and through her funny and relatable comics, she is attempting to share her passion for art with the rest of the world! She mostly creates webcomics on Instagram in the hopes of sharing her experience of what it's like to be in a relationship with others. Barmy Chip Witch’s comics, though they mostly include her boyfriend, also revolve around their cat, who makes an occasional entrance to make certain situations even more comical.
In a previous interview with Bored Panda, the artist shared a bit about her art journey, herself, and her relationship.
"I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember, but started to draw my own silly autobiographical comics in journals about 10 years ago. It was a bit like my private diary. Then my boyfriend looked through them and started hassling me to start an Instagram, especially since I was slowly learning how to paint digitally around this time. I suppose what inspires me the most for these comics—aside from whatever silly and funny things happen to me—are those little everyday moments in life I don’t want to forget that are so easy to."

Every grocery, book, antique, department store. That is us.......we say we're gonna watch ourselves but we never do. I have spent over 100 dollars on garden stuff at walmart and home depot.

We used to mix up the different colored gatorades when I was in football. Made a green color, we named it after our city lake. SOOOOO GOOD
