Recently had to deal with my mobile provider. After a certain time you can opt to deal with a human ( I was on laptop). I still typed in "please" and "thank you" and "have a good evening" even though I'm not a hundred percent sure I was dealing with a person on the other end...🤣 (it pays to be polite to our Robot Overlords)

It seriously can't replace writers, it's uncreative as hell. It always tries to end any story with the characters eating something for example. I once had it write a story about Santa, and it didn't just come out as total nonsense, they also ate him in the end for no reason

AI content detector tools are extremely inaccurate. One said the Declaration of Independence was AI generated. My 16 yr old was recently accused of using AI for a paper. He came to me very upset and I know he didn't. We'd discussed the assignment and he'd had me edit it before he turned it in. It was his work. Called the school and talked to vice principal. It was a ridiculous conversation. But VP put son's assignment into a different detector and it came back as not AI. The school doesn't use one specific AI, the teachers all just use whatever. It's a mess. I know some students will cheat. But many who aren't cheating are being accused of it. And the detectors often get it wrong the other way too, saying something isn't AI when it is.

All AI does is combine what it finds on the internet. To break it, all we have to do is feed it false information. We need to preserve social media for that reason!!

One: can ChatGPT really write code? For example could it write code to predict the output from my nuclear fusion device design? Two: is there a library book that explains how to get the best results from ChatGPT?

AI continues to evolve at a lightning fast rate. And it is all down to the info we (unwittingly) give it. Ask it to write something today and again or week or so.
