I just made my first piece of street art ever, in Tokyo, called ‘The bird boy’. This is the beginning of a series aiming to change negative preconceptions people have towards street art, considering it as vandalism – which it isn’t. I want to show people what street art really is: an outdoor gallery. Therefore I used a real canvas (910*606mm) and put in in the streets of Shibuya.

The bird boy is a meter of simplicity and purity on an over-saturated wall, in one of the most crowded areas on earth. It’s a break from this ultra-cluttered life. A square of freedom.
