With cats ruling our online world and giving the fact that 6 billion emojis are sent daily worldwide, it’s kind of strange that there are such little cat emojis, right?

That’s what Kelly, who works at Poopy Cat, also thought. She was constantly missing out on cat emojis. Together with her team, she designed a cat emoji set and started a petition to unite all the cat lovers in the world.

In the video she said: “I use emojis everyday. Not only to communicate with my friends, but also on social media and for Poopy Cat content. There are so many cat lovers in the world, 72 billion to be exact, and I feel like we can’t express our daily lives with cats properly through emoji.”

It’s no news that emojis are popular. Every day, a whopping 6 billion emojis are sent worldwide.

Emojis are universal: no words, no language boundaries, no miscommunication. We can express ourselves better than with words, and with such little effort. It’s takes only 1 tap to “tell” someone that you are literally crying with joy about a joke that just been made, or to express just how much you love someone.

But how can you express the love for your cat, or that you’re having a Netflix & Chill date with your furry friend? That’s right, you can’t.

The cat emoji set includes a color picker for the current cat emojis (because we don’t all have ginger or “yellow” cats), but also a wide variation of cat ladies and guys. Whether you are female or male, have blonde hair, a darker skin tone, living together with 5 black cats (that’s a little creepy) or are best friends with your white fluffy cat like Kelly: no cat or human is left behind!
