Calm Before The Storm
When we first moved to Amarillo, Tx I grew a strong fascination with the amazing thunderstorms that would roll through.
This particular evening. My daughter and I were heading out for some practice shooting. On the way the weather alert warning went off in the car.
with in 10 mins the temperature had dropped from 73 to 53. with crazy wind gust. I was able to shoot a total of about 10 frames before we jumped back in the car.
This today is still one of my favorite shots I have with my daughter.

Damn - after that build-up, I was expecting more awesome pix. (this one is great, BTW. I've long hoped to capture a photo of just about *anything* lit by the low sun ahead of a dark storm., You have! V.nice)
working with a 5 year old... like I said was only able to get 10 frames.. with 70mph wind gust. I didnt leave her outside very long :). This is about the only one I edited.. the other are very similar. This was also shot on an old canon xsi with horrible low light capabilities. So Im pretty happy with how this one was able to turn out.. it was more the rush and experience that made it such a fun mememory.
