If you love old-school newspaper humor with a weird little twist, you need to check out this post.
Created by cartoonist Doug Hill, the one-panel comic series is packed with funny jokes, awkward situations, and goofy punchlines. Hill’s style feels timeless, somewhere between classic newspaper comics and internet-era humor, which is probably why so many readers keep coming back for more.
Over the years, Laughing Hippo Studio has built a loyal following, with thousands of readers sharing their favorite strips online. And honestly, it’s easy to see why – these comics have that rare ability to make you smile instantly.

Let's make the bronze age hystrionics vanish under something positive, shall we? How about a fascinating fact? Did you know there's a part of the ocean SO remote, that the closest human to you when you're there, is on the international space station?
This is indeed how it works, with both dogs and cats. We rescue them, and then they rescue us a hundred times over.
Never mind making him hit the ball towards the flag, rather than fully the other way.
Where's "Who am I?" , "Do I come here often?" ,and "Was I going upstairs, or did I just come down?"
2kg of steak and a tank of gas produce about the same amount of greenhouse gases, so ..
Extra points for giving Charles Schulz credit. In a world of scraped art and asset-flipping, this guy is the example.
You know you have a d**g problem when you arrange your dinner in narrow lines
What a shame, he appears to be an exceptionally talented cat herder. Nineteen cats simultaneously headed in the same direction is a feat that has likely never been achieved outside of a comic.

Penguins movies can never have enough sequels. Same goes for Minions movies. I just love both to bits!
The ginger tabby being the one to say this is SO on-brand, hahahaha!

Grandma, what big eyes yo--- haaaaang on a minute, your eyes are NORMAL size!
"The Road Not Taken" -- not about the rugged individualistic, but a case of Frost making fun of a friend's indecisiveness.
Let's get that apologist nonsense out of view with another factoid, shall we? Did you know Miss Piggy from the Muppets, was originally going to be called Piggy Lee?
Yes. They relax me. Communing with nature is good for the soul. The fact I'm dragging a bodybag should be completely irrelevant.
Don't know why everyone is piling on the downvotes for Apatheist, he is simply stating what he observes. I too enjoyed these cartoons, and also find being lectured at, less amusing than being caricaturised in cartoon form. A good gag is a good gag even if its at my expense. A bad gag is a bad gag even if its at special interest groups expense. Feeling forced as an audience, to deny that funny is funny and preaching is just not, is why woke humour is so polarising.
