40 Of The Funniest Memes People Created After Bernie Sanders Was Captured Sitting Alone During Inauguration
Biden’s historical inauguration ceremony had everyone pulling out their genuine smiles, uplifting spirits, and polished outfits, of course.
Jill Biden set the tone as the first lady with a custom look with shades of blue to "signify trust, confidence, and stability." Vice President Kamala Harris was sworn in while wearing a stunning purple ensemble by two young and talented Black designers. And Michelle Obama wowed everyone with a head-to-toe plum and burgundy outfit by Sergio Hudson.
But it’s not them who won the hearts of the internet. The veteran Senator Bernie Sanders sported an exceptionally casual look with huge woolen mittens, his staple winter jacket, and a standard blue surgical mask. Bernie surely meant to keep it practical as the cold wind was blowing on the momentous day.
The look was instantly dubbed ‘iconic,’ with many totally relating to Bernie's low-key effort and simplicity. The hand-warming choice also stole the spotlight in the inauguration meme game, and here are the funniest reactions people have tweeted.

Bernie is so relatable. Average price coat adapted for cold weather, nice recycled mittens. I feel I am Bernie 😊

Bernie Sanders, the best president the US will never have. Nomination stolen by Clinton and outspent by the donors who own Biden now. Had it been him running against Trump there would've been a chance. Even dyed in the wool Dems hated Hillary, both parties fielded their worst candidates and again in 2020. Biden is FAR better than Trump but seriously, that's such a low bar that even I could get over it..

Yes. Just imagine how much better we might have been if Bernie had won 2016... sigh...
