Couple Announces They’re Expecting “A Sidekick” As Batman And Batgirl, And Their Pics Are Going Viral

On April 21st, James Doherty and his wife Alisha broke the big news that they’re expecting a baby – with a photoshoot that will make nerdy couples swoon. Holy fatherhood, Batman!
“My wife and I have a sidekick on the way,” James announced with a cheeky photo posted on Reddit depicting the Nashville couple in full Batman-themed garb, with more photos later appearing on Imgur. The dad-to-be commented that he picked the suit up for a cool $900, and produced the cape himself using rolled layers of latex. “I just want to let you know you might be one of my favourite internet strangers ever. Carry on,” one Reddit user remarked, while others tried their hand at photoshopping the couple into the Batcave.
However these kick-ass parents end up dressing their future “sidekick,” that kid is clearly guaranteed to have a life of crime fighting and movie marathons.

I think it is hilarious....but when ever someone is like "look at the pregnancy test".. I always think, "You peed on that"
Right?! Like anyone's going to be like "I don't believe you. I'm going to need to see some proof."
ha ha, I get that it is the only proof they have at that moment, but yea, I will take their word for it.

Honestly, they probably already had the costumes either for comic conventions or Halloween. I see pregnancy announcements like this all the time. People are just trying to be funny for friends & family. Maybe these people were trying to get their 15 min of Fame, maybe not. But either way, I think it's rad.
