Paintings from the series “Wheel of Time” depicts old item from collectors’ fairs. My goal was to pictorially represent the position and weightless state in which an object is stagnant, even though the whole world revolves around it at breathtaking speed. I paint an item at one stage of its existence when the life period has ended and he is waiting at the start of the new phase state. I am talking about things time travel, things that do not belong to us. They kind of have their own separate lives, their memories and appearance.
I paint separate object rising up from packed environment which plays in the background blur. I interpret and play color combinations as a transferal of the object to the current time. While hosts are changing they not only change their appearance but also the function of the environment and do a different role. While we are collecting, illustrating, repurchasing and storing items we prolong their life time.
