Leaving the comfort zone is not easy. I am a very demanding person with myself. I am very methodical to learn and to teach. I like formulas, which can be repeated and leads to the same result. They make me feel safe. Engineer’s daughter maybe? ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

I wanted to start taking studio photos for a long time, I decided to do it more than a year ago. I made many excuses, I don’t have time, I don’t have lighting equipment, I have to study more. Then I remembered something that I say a lot to my students, the only thing you need to start is to feel like it.

This time of confinement was perfect to kick off with the indoor portraits. My perfectionism discouraged me to the point of taking photos and not downloading them to the computer. I remembered the joy and the impetus with which I started in the world of outdoor photography, everything was desire and learning, everything was for me. I realized that my obstacle was to think about how the rest were going to see my new job, if I was going to be up to the task, that paralyzed me and took away my desire.

Abandoning my confort zone led me to go on a nice journey of learning and also fill myself with fears and insecurities. I am convinced that magic starts right after all that fear.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

So today I expose myself to the world and share one of my works with artificial light. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
