Sydney-based Australian artist who goes online by the name Scadam (and mandal0re on Reddit) is a huge Star Wars fan. In fact, he likes the franchise so much, he replaced a framed photo at his home with a picture from the galaxy far, far away—Samuel L. Jackson in a dress. The actor who played Mace Windu in The Phantom Menace can be seen wielding a lightsaber while wearing a frilly gown, with a large bonnet on his head. But you know what’s the best part about it? As eye-catching as the image is, his wife was completely oblivious to the prank. So Scadam decided to make it a series.

Scadam started manipulating images on his phone about 3 years ago as a part of Reddit photoshop battles. “Star Wars has always been my favorite movie series and [these pictures] were something I thought were fun to make after having done a full set of old military portraits,” the artist told Bored Panda.

“These portraits take on average around 2-3 hours to do. I make them on my iPhone with an app like Photoshop and involve a lot of work on texture layers and lighting to fit into the original pictures.”

Scadam said his wife isn’t the biggest Star Wars fan but she got a kick out of his fun little project nonetheless. She even left the pictures right there, in frames, on the shelves.
