One of the greatest inspirations of an artist is undoubtedly the affection of his fans. Among letters, videos, photos, and gifts, audiences find a variety of ways to show how much the idol is dear.

Illustrator Anja Shu is a fan of Hollywood star Tom Hanks and has chosen to honor him with beautiful illustrations of characters from her films that look more like watercolor drawings.

“Tom Hanks is my favorite actor, i can’t stop watching movies with him. I think he is charming and his characters give me heart-warming feelings, they are very kind, honest and little confused all the time . So i got inspired and put together all my favorite movies with Tom and created cartoon characters”,said the artist to Bored Panda.

I love writing about cats, dogs, inspiring stories, talented artists, and incredible photographers. One of the things I love most about my work is discovering people, projects, and stories that deserve to be seen - and having the honor of introducing them to readers around the world.

That’s what makes Bored Panda so special to me: it can turn a small story, a photograph, or the work of a little-known artist into something seen, shared, and appreciated by millions of people. Being part of that bridge between those who create and those on the other side of the world ready to be inspired is a privilege.

I only have one complaint: days should have 48 hours. There are too many stories to discover, too many talents to meet, and a whole world of incredible things I still want to share. 🐾❤️
