Aoraki Mt Cook is located on the South Island of New Zealand. I drove up late in the afternoon, golden hour really brought out the colours in Lake Pukaki.
While there don’t miss out on the stunning Hooker Valley Walk. It took me about 4 hours to complete (lots of photo stops). I would recommend getting there early to beat the crowds. There are 3 suspension bridges, a boardwalk section and endless views whilst surrounded by snow capped mountains.
