A very detailed illustration. Painting on Photoshop rather than with a brush and paper. With some Photoshop effects. I zoomed in to add extra detail and used a box blur for the trees in the background. I used a brush with opacity edges to soften the edges. I followed a tutorial to create the mud on the pig illustration and tweaked it a little.

A couple of weeks. I didn't count the hours unfortunately. I work full time so hard to say, as did them at weekends and after work. But many, many hours. That's why I enjoy doing a variety of illustrations. My cartoons and comics are a nice break from detailed illustrations. I have also done some detailed ones on film, TV and music stars.
