I Find A Lot Of Old Bones On The River Thames Banks At Low Tide- Here Are Some Of Them Photographed In The Studio.
Nothing like spending an afternoon at low tide on the Thames in London searching the shore for the disregarded detritus of ages gone by. There are a so many animal bones strewn around, all beautifully toned by the Thames to a smooth golden Brown. The shapes are amazing and I feel each fragment of bone has its own personality and this is what I have tried to capture in my new project, Bones of London.
Its a hot day today in the studio, so I have only two to show but I am creating a series of ‘Portraits’ in due course.
