I Create Miniature Graphite Sculptures From A Carpenter’s Pencil

What I’m doing is – I cut the carpenter pencil into half and pull out the graphite from it and carving and stick it each other to make an replica model like Mack Truck with Speed Boat, Jubilee Clock Tower, Kapitan Keling Mosque Tower located in Penang, Malaysia; Makkah Clock Royal Tower, Mecca, Saudi Arabia; and Burj Khalifa, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mack Truck with Speed Boat are inspiration from Johor Sultan that buy the world most expensive Mack truck who needed something to tow his speedboat. The Kapitan Keling Mosque Tower located in Penang, Malaysia are tribute artwork for 215 years of that mosque celebration recently and Jubilee Clock Tower are one of historical tower clock and iconic monuments in Penang, Malaysia.

Makkah Clock Royal Tower, Mecca, Saudi Arabia is distinguished as the tallest hotel in the world and is connected to the Royal Clock Tower which features the largest clock face in the world. Burj Khalifa also known as Burj Dubai before its inauguration, is a megatall skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the tallest artificial structure in the world.

This kind of artwork can be created just using a knife and tiny chisel to carve detailed “Pencil –Tip Carving/Sculptures”. For creating this artwork we must have lots of passion and have to be very careful when working with black lead of pencil, as the smallest lack of attention can lead to cracking. The small part has been joint together with glue and must be very detail observation and lot of research study before producing the artwork.
