Amazing Cityscape By A Passionate Watercolorist Sankar Thakur

My name is Sankar Thakur and I’m contemporary watercolorist. I have refused to admit that water is colorless, shapeless and odorless. I used to look at paintings and wonder how one can say that water can’t create shapes? Years later, I joined the Art College at Kolkata. There, I picked up a brush, dipped it in color and turned to a blank canvas for the first time. Ever since, I have never looked back. That was the beginning. I’m sure there are countless artistic souls out there who try to capture the beauty of Mother Nature on their blank canvases.
