This Reddit Group Is All About Sharing Photos That Amateurs Took, And They Show Just How Good Casual Photographers Are (108 Pics)
Photography is historically much more different from all of the other art mediums. Since it came much later than other artforms, it was democratic right from the outset: anyone with a camera and some enthusiasm could participate. But, of course, the technical knowhow, the prices of the first cameras and photos, and many other factors made professionals look really good.
However, the times change, and along with the times, so has photography. Nowadays anyone can snap a high-quality photo using only their smartphone. And these little technological and sociological changes have made it so that regular, casual amateur photographers seem on par with the professionals. Don't believe me? This Reddit group is dedicated to exactly that: splendid photos by regular people.

I Filmed Myself For 1.5 Hours So That The “Wax Stalactite” Would Become Long Enough
Don't worry , I didn't have any burns. Candles have a low melting point, so the first layer was a little hot, and then you don’t feel anything.

The smoke effect in the interior of the car was made from an artificial fog made up of 80% water and 20% glycerin. Behind the head, I placed an LED lamp with a warm glow shade.

I Managed To Capture Fire From The Mouth Of A Dragon Sitting On Top Of Gringotts Bank
I took this photo near dusk, when a storm was approaching. And yes, fire is real! It pops up every 20 minutes and shakes a little at first to let you know it's about to call.

The Super Moon Rising Every 105 Seconds
Dennis Mikulus 4 years ago
Hmm super moon diameter is ~33 arcminutes = 0.55 deg... so each moon image looks like about 40 arcminutes = 0.66 deg... so time interval should be (0.66/360)*24*60*60 = 158 sec

Proof that photography is real art :D many people like to say "anyone can buy a camera and press a button" when it comes to photography but it takes real skill, luck, talent, timing, and a good eye to take photos like this. Even if I was given the best camera in the world I doubt I'd be able to take such beautiful and perfect photos.
