Aita For Decorating My Home With Neon Signs Custom Made For Me And Annoying My Neighbors?

Hi Pandas! I need your honest judgment on something that’s been bothering me lately. So, a few months ago, I decided to revamp my living room and make it more fun and vibrant. I came across these neon signs custom

from a company in Australia called Lit Neon, and I instantly fell in love with the idea. I got a sign made with my favorite quote, “Shine Bright,” and it looks stunning!

Here’s where the issue started. My neighbors have been complaining about how bright the sign is, especially at night, even though it’s inside my house and barely visible from the street. I tried to explain that the LED neon signs are energy-efficient and designed to be subtle, not overly bright. Still, they think it’s “too flashy” and say it “doesn’t fit the neighborhood vibe.”

On the other hand, my friends and family absolutely love it, and my kids think it’s the coolest thing ever. It has truly made my home feel more personal and stylish.

So, Pandas, AITA for wanting my house to reflect my personality with these neon signs custom designed for me? Should I dim the sign or stand my ground?
