THIS is what weddings should be: fun, laughter, and friendship. It should NOT be a "pain in the A&&," it should be joyous and beautiful. It is a CELEBRATION and not a wake or a funeral or a "ohmygawd". People who laugh, love and spread joy will capture the future, those who don't, throw away a lot of happiness.

Just as everyone was quietening down for the start one of my friends said "If I was Simon, I'd be shitting myself about now". *Everyone* heard that as it echoed around the church. Cue lots of tutting from the bride's side and lots of stifled laughing from us.

These are all so great!! Such humor and joy. I remember when all weddings were so stuffy and pressured that everything be perfect and things were done a certain way or it raised eyebrows. This is so much better. However, I really do need an explanation one the underwear rollerskates guy.
