Can be different reasons. Maybe they fell out of love and then back into it. Or they had different expectations of life at some point but have now the same again. Or they got into a fight and divorced because of it but over the time regretted it. .....

My Friend Had A Medieval Themed Wedding And Her Grandpa Showed Up Like This
Rhiann recounted one incident about her friend who had a vegan meal in the heart of Texas, BBQ country. “Her mother-in-law spent the entire planning process stressing about the fact that people will be hungry and wearing out the phrase 'what, I can't believe there won't be any meat.'”
“But in the end, everyone, all the guests, and mother-in-law were really happy with the meal,” Rhiann said and added that “sometimes, a bit of surprise is a good thing.” You shouldn’t thoroughly adapt your wedding to the preferences of your guests, and if you take them into account, this should not overturn the things that you feel comfortable with on your wedding day.

When my husband and I went to hire a reverend and get our marriage license in Niagara Falls a few months before our wedding there was a dance competition like that Dance Mom's show at the hotel the first 2 days. Talk about annoying and inconsiderate people! The hotel staff was apologetic and relieved when they left. A fetish ball would have been better I'm sure! Probably quieter!😬😂

This is always an awkward situation. Luckily, at my wedding, the two families mingled. But I've attended other weddings when the two sides stuck to themselves. Not a big deal if the bride and groom aren't bothered about their families getting along.

Call me cynical, but I believe some couples concentrate too much on making their weddings a big show. I think it's more important to focus on the deeper reason for a wedding i.e. two people solidifying their relationship and declaring their love.

I'm an introvert and would be so uncomfortable being the centre of attention all day. For me, mine will be a big outdoor bash with swimming, yard games and food galore. I want people to have fun messing about rather than sitting and staring at me and my hubby while people make a bunch of monologues. It's a celebration of our relationship that we have already solidified.

Best advice I ever read about dealing Alzheimer's and similar was to play along, trying to get them to remember was just an exercise in stress and futility, especially for them. I was photographing a wedding once and I was taking a shot from the couple from a distance. I was moving forward a little to get a better angle while looking trough the lens when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I lower my camera and see my foot dangling over a staircase in mid air. Had I taken the step I would have plunged down. Bride's ex-boyfriend saw what was happening just in time and saved me from serious injury.

United Airlines has lost my luggage 4 times now. The only reason I've gone back, is that they always find it and send it along after it's enjoyed a side trip.

A bridal shower is usually planned and hosted by a family member or sometimes the maid of honor and sometimes, planned along with the bridesmaids - and usually a daytime event. It is attended by close friends, families of both parties and relatives. The guests would bring presents that would normally gear towards the couple's new home or presents that would somewhat help the future of the couple. Traditionally, only women attended, but nowadays, even the groom is present, including the male members of their families/relatives and friends. Sidenote: a bridal shower is entirely different from a bachelorette party.

wtf is a wedding shower? i know what a baby shower is, its a party you throw when pregnant for people to bring you expensive gifts for your baby. plz dont tell me that people are now throwing pre wedding parties so they can double the amount of wedding presents! possibly the most entitled thing i have ever heard of. im so glad the pandemic stopped anyone from showing up
