The temple is situated on a small hill in the village of Miękisz Stary (Poland). According to sources, it was built in the years 1803-1811. The object is already gnawed by the tooth of time, everything is falling apart and just wait for it to collapse in a moment. Light rays fall through the planked windows, which gives this building an additional atmosphere. In the corner of the temple, there is one last pew. The current condition of the church results from leaving it unattended since 1947. The people of Ukrainian origin were then displaced from Poland. In the 1960s, its furnishings were moved to the Castle Museum in Łańcut.
