English Pointers or just “pointers” have been great hunting sidekicks since the 1600s. Their exceptional ability to point and track has been their great asset and can assist hunters. They fall into one of the primary types of gun dogs or hunting dogs, the pointing breed.
For female pointers, their weight ranges from 44 to 65 pounds with an average height of 23 to 26 inches tall. Their coats are short, straight, and smooth; it may appear black, liver, orange, or lemon in color.
