A Hidden Webtoon Gem

A Rhode Island artist by the name of aloneintown has captivated the ocean state with her work for years. She has recently started writing and illustrating her own web comic. She combines her love of horror and local history and blends it to create a unique story.

The Grand Preceptor follows college student Cricket who finds herself awakening to a great power, the power of the preceptor. She is to be our worlds defense against the mystery black blood the seeks out organic hosts to bend to its will.

Cricket befriends a strange man named Barnabas who has an extensive knowledge of the power of the preceptor and the black blood. Together the two work to keep our world safe while navigating life’s every day challenges.
