I Made A Batman Fan Film Staring My 6-Year-Old Son, Then Held A World Premiere At The Local Cineplex
My son and I make fan films for YouTube. The latest is a Batman fan film titled “Adrian MacNeil’s Tales of the Dark Knight” in which Adrian plays all the roles (over 20). The project took 2 years to make. During its production, Adrian expressed to me that he wanted his movie to play at the local cinema, where we go to see movies and forged our love for the cinema. On November 30th we rented a theatre at the local cineplex, invited friends and family and held a world premiere complete with a red carpet. The screening consisted of five episodes and the total run time was 25 minutes. After the screening, the first episode was uploaded to YouTube with a new episode coming every Saturday in December.
