What a contrast, the little Grand Duchess' and the young oyster shuckers, children from the same era.
And even with that, their destiny wasn't brighter. ( The duchess got killed when teenager or young adult)

I can't imagine the pain those oyster shuckers experienced. By the looks of their hands it was horrific.
