Police Dogs In China Waiting For Food Are Better In Lines Than Most People

These police dogs in China show remarkable discipline by lining up for food with bowls in their mouths. Trained dogs can do remarkable things like sniffing for bombs or learning to turn lights on and off, so it’s not hard to believe that dogs in China might behave this way. The photo below of Finnish border patrol service dogs in the 1940’s seems to confirm this ability.
What do you think? Do you know anyone that trains police dogs?

i don't think this is cruel. It't not worse than it is for humans to learn to stand in line, like we do in school and very similiar this photo, the army. Dogs are highly social animaly and haven't been seen to take any harm from rules and dicipline as long as they aren't cruel ones. Actually, it seems like dogs feel GOOD when they know what's ecpected fom them, who's in charge, how to behave, over all how to be a good boy.
I agree with you Mia, I don't think it's cruel! These dogs are beautiful!

German Shepherds are working dogs. They're very intelligent and they need and want tasks and discipline. Without it they get bored and frustrated. As long as these dogs are being well cared for, you needn't feel sorry for them. Rather pity the ones who are locked up all day with no stimulation or activity.
I wonder how the dogs handle the full bowl.. I meant, are they gonna walk with two feet while the other two holding the bowl?
Probably relieved they're not currently going to be eaten in the Yulin Festival, all you need to know about how China regards animals is in these links: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-32965554 http://www.dogingtonpost.com/10000-dogs-tortured-annual-yulin-dog-eating-festival/
most don't eat them, visit china, though now you can't
