Since childhood, I am in love with nature and I love to keep nature pressed in books. This time I wanted to go beyond, when I was walking around the new neighborhood I found so many big leaves, so I started to collect leaves during autumn, and suddenly I started to paint on them.
I work with acrylics and ink on the dry leaves.
I love the idea of keeping nature as art and preserve nature giving it a second chance to live.

my dad has a tattoo of those angles and its my sister and i and it has our birth dates on a ribbon its awesome!

Love it!!!!!!!! Except, I would want to but I live in Australia and there are no leaves like that so... Also I agree Hannah Hollowell, if it crumbled to dust I'd probs cry for weeks...

These paintings are beautiful in and of themselves. The fact that they are painted on a rough, uneven, delicate canvas adds to my amazement. Thanks for sharing these, you are quite talented.

Love them! I am trying asap! Do you spray something or what keeps them from totally drying out and turning to flakes?
