Do you remember the amazing body art illusions by Craig Tracy? It seems that Craig has a competitor – 25-year-old German artist Gesine Marwedel. From flamingo to iguana, she can turn people into any animal using special paint that is not harmful to the body of her models.

Swedish makeup enthusiast Sandra Holmbom admits that her latest eye-lip make-up isn’t pretty, but for some reason it’s hard to take your eyes away from it. It leaves you confused and unsure whether it’s an eye or lips you’re looking at. If you still haven’t guessed, she painted the super realistic eye on her own lips! To make it look more confusing at a first glance, Sandra even attached fake eyelashes on the upper lip.

With Halloween approaching, many of you are probably looking for costume and make-up ideas. Maybe this Japanese art student Chooo-San, aged 19, could inspire you: her new body paint works started circling the Internet and would definitely pass for an impressive Halloween costume.

Bodypaint has become very popular in the media, but the works of Trina Merry from San Francisco and Emma Hack from Adelaide (Australia) has raised the bar even higher. By combining their amazing body painting skills and the athleticism of their models, the two artists managed to transform groups of people into a wrecked car and three different types of motorcycles.

Don’t be deceived, this is not another collection of Guido Daniele’ work. The hand paintings below are all painted by a talented London-based body painter Annie Ralli. Photographed by Ray Massey, these optical illusions are a part of advertising campaign for Ecclesiastical Insurance, a niche insurance company using the byline “You’re in good hands”.

Japanese art student Chooo-San, aged 19, uses only acrylic paint and her incredible talent to transform herself into a mutant or cyborg. Multiple mouths, six eyes or even batteries protruding from her forearms – these are just a few examples of what she can do with a human body. Everything began when Chooo-San was studying for university admission exams. She would draw eyes and other objects on her hands while taking breaks from her studies.

You probably have already seen some pictures of Liu Bolin before (or didn’t even realize he was there) and now he’s back with some more cool camouflage art! As we wrote before, Liu Bolin became popular for his mastery at the art of camouflaging himself against virtually any background. The results are incredible – sometimes passers-by don’t even realize he is around until he moves.

A lot of women are probably more obsessed with a pimple, bad hair or their butt than they are concerned about breast cancer. In order to raise breast cancer awareness, Breast Cancer Foundation in Singapore creatively used body art to ask women if they were “obsessed with the right things?”

A graduate with honors from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Craig was a professional Freelance Illustrator by the age of twenty. Actually, he hated being an illustrator, so he retired from illustration 6 years later. Only then he fell in love with body painting, and now he’s one of the most famous body painting artists in the world.
