When it comes to body shaming plus-sized people, we should all take an example from Sara Petty - the girl who doesn't care what mean people say about her body image.
After noticing lots of tweets (not to her directly) saying that the beauty standards do not allow women over 200 pounds or those with curvy bodies to wear some clothes, Petty decided to make a statement and do the exact opposite. Even though body-shamers said women over 200 pounds shouldn't wear any revealing clothes, including leggings, crop tops, bikinis, and booty shorts, Petty wore is all and tweeted pics with the caption: "Girls: Wear whatever the hell you want." And you know what? She looked freakin' beautiful in every single outfit! Petty's tweet has gone viral since with over 119k likes, 103k retweets, and tons of people sending messages of support, and thanks for sharing some body positivity.

Bikini
Alright guys I don't think she's the best example to get this message accross, but she is in no way at risk of heart disease if you pay attention to thw circumference of her waist she's probably healthier than you haters are.
Load More Replies...Forget the trolls and shamers. She's beautiful and way better than plastic! Also, she does have a good body. There's no shame to that!
She is beautiful the way she is and people should just keep to themselves no one else needs to hear this kind of c**p
Booty Shorts
The only wrong thing is telling ppl that they can't wear something bc of their weight :)
Load More Replies...That's why they are called booty shorts and not skinny a*s b***h shorts.
If you're body shaming you're just an a*****e and you deserve 200+ pounds of Piano to be dropped on your head.
All these haters may be skinny on the outside but they are ugly af on the inside.........
Not for me but she looks good! Haters are gonna hate no matter what you do!
Guys wouldn't be so brutal and disrespectful.
Load More Replies...Nothing wrong with this child. I am sure the reason they say stuff like that is because they do not have what you have. You look good.
Leggings
I hate how people think they have the right to say what their opinion is on someone else's body. She has the right to wear what ever she wants.
I wear leggings but, at my age, I add a tunic type top to hide the cottage cheese thighs.
yep looking good at least you have a bum , others are jealous that they havent
Like I said... those people in the comments being all rude need glasses! 🤓 You look amazing! Screw them!
Crop Tops
"Sorry but if you mistype 'your' for 'you're ' you shouldn't be twitting". And I'm not a native.
If you are trying to fit your a*s, fat or not, into a crop top, you are wearing it wrong.
She is beautiful and can wear whatever she wants and I bet over half the ppl who commented are over that weight any way
What I find extra rude is that people won't make a racist slur, but it's fine to body-shame people who are fatter or thinner than themselves
Load More Replies...I'm sorry but these people that write these comments should be hugely embarrassed. To actually write such stupid, nasty things...we women should be sticking together, not telling women what or what not to wear...shame on these sad sad trolls that clearly have their own body issues. This girl looks beautiful in all outfits! You go girl!
That's their opinion and I am going to respect it, which is more than they do to this girl. Let's everyone wear what they like and we all will be much happier. I'm worried about this world: why is it so difficult to be nice????
What's wrong with people? She looks beautiful in every outfit. It's not a matter of size, I weight 140 pounds and look awful in leggins. Every person has a different body shape, and we're all beautiful.
To Luis, I don't know how you look like, but I feel pity for someone who has to put other people's photo as profile pic and goes around telling others they're ugly. She is pretty, her body sure not like skinny models on TV but f*****g hell she is beautiful in her own way. Do us a favor and shut the f**k up, dumbass.
Load More Replies...the sad part is that all those twitter posters are girls. sad dumb children who think someones value is higher or lower based on the body they have because thats how they are being brought up.
what i thought too. Shameful it is how those girls think.
Load More Replies...This is actually a hidden commercial for battery packs!
Load More Replies...What's up with people being all "Don't wear that. Please and thank you! ;D" Like... they're trying to be polite, but that doesn't backtrack from how you're obviously being insulting.
As others have noted, all the haters are women. Ladies, we need to support each other, not denigrate. Be your sister's ally. We are stronger together!
Stronger together YES! Build each other up it takes nothing & u gain a lot! Try it, it supercharges your day AND lifts someone else's :)
Load More Replies...well of course they are judging. They think they have the best body shape so it's easy to rant about other people's weight and body shape. If they were an overweight girl, they wouldn't like being bullied like that though. Plus, girls with such low IQ need to feel special and more beautiful than other girls so they distance themselves from the ''ugly'' or ''fat'' girls. Oh look at me, I'm slim and you're not, let me degrade you and make you feel bad that I'm more beautiful than you!!
Load More Replies...What the hell is wrong with people who think they can say to other people what they can wear or don't wear. It makes me angry!!! Wear what you want to wear!!!
Probably over 5'8", 200 lbs is not an issue. Can't set a weight límit 'cause it depends on height, but in general, curvie girls will allways attract mens sight.
And confidence plays an important role in how a lady looks in what she wears.
