Lure Hsu is an interior designer and fashion blogger who stunned millions of people because of her youthful looks. Guess Lure Hsu’s age? 47! Yet, she looks like she’s in her 20s. She’s one of the young-looking old people who are blessed with great skin. But is genetics the only factor in her youthful looks?

In Lure Hsu’s case, age-defying genes seem to run in the family. Lure’s two sisters, Sharon (42) and Fayfay (46), both also look like they’re college students in their 20s. Not to mention their mother! She is a retired dancer, who could easily be mistaken as their sister, but it turns out she’s 69. Taiwanese media called these young-looking old people the family of frozen ages.

    Is It Possible to Start Looking Younger?

    So what are these old people who look young doing differently? In an interview with a popular Taiwanese magazine, Lure revealed that the key to youthful looks is to drink water and eat vegetables. So, basically, a healthy lifestyle. She also pointed out the importance of moisturizing your skin: once your skin has enough water, you don’t even need to worry about aging and wrinkles.

    Similarly to Lure, sister Fayfay also recommended drinking lots of water, including a big glass of lukewarm water every morning. “I have been doing that for more than a decade” Fayfay said. “I drink 350 ml to 500 ml.”

    Science agrees. A recent study by Lancet reveals that proper hydration can slow down aging and prolong a disease-free life.

    How Can You Look 20 Years Younger Naturally?

    Looking 20 years younger boils down to lifestyle choices and skincare practices. Prioritize a healthy lifestyle. This includes regular exercise, drinking plenty of water, and getting adequate sleep. This allows your body to regenerate cells, promoting a more youthful appearance. Avoid harmful habits such as smoking and excessive alcohol consumption, as they contribute to premature aging.
