I have started drawing around two years ago and I wanted to share some of my works with you.
My drawings are hyperrealistic versions of the subjects, but don’t let your eyes fool you – all of this is done by hand, spending countless hours every single day finding the right shades and creating accurate textures.
My favourite subjects to draw are people and animals. Many people ask me to draw their pets and they hang their portraits on the wall along with the family photos. I find it to be a great way to have a nice pet portrait – even if you are not that good in taking pictures of your pets, I can still make the drawings very realistic and interesting to look at.
I think my realistic art reflects on the most sincere things in the portraits that we usually miss out on. It takes an aesthetic of sincerity and a lot of diligence to draw these pieces, but in the end, they can reveal the emotions of the subject, the true beauty, and put the reality in the centre of attention, which is always an interesting way to interpret art.
