Studying medicine or working in a hospital can be quite demanding. Everyday I see a lot of pain and suffering and sometime it’s hard to get by. Photography helps me with coping what I’ve experienced. Taking pictures is my way of closing my eyes and remember everything that’s good about life, reminding myself how wonderful and beautiful it can be. It gives me a break, even if it’s just for a second, and the energy to open them again and face what’s coming next.

I am fascinated by natural beauty and I love showing that a person can be strong and independent, but also lonely and fragile at the same time. I used a lot of different techniques, different kind of light and tried new perspectives to create this set. A lot of these models are actually fellow photographers I’ve met on the way. Some of them became good friends of mine.
