Artist Creates Delicious-Looking Crochet Food And You Will Probably Want To Eat It (30 Pics)
Interview With Artist
Most of us have a hobby. Some play musical instruments, some computer games or take up painting, drawing. Some instead spend their free time crocheting. It's a relaxing hobby and you might even get a scarf or blanket out of it! However, teacher and artist Normalynn Ablao took crocheting to another level and showed what you can really do with it.
Normalynn creates amazing-looking food out of thread. Her creations are so delicious-looking they often leave you hungry. But taking a bite would probably be a bad idea. The artist even turns her crochet cakes into purses and all kinds of other useful things. Normalynn sells the patterns she uses on her Etsy page, so if you want to make something similar, check it out.

So creative! I wish I was good at crocheting. I've been making my brother a green scarf since 2007.

Does anyone know - are they meant to be display pieces? Art for art's sake? Very intricate and well-done!

Crochet food is one of my favorite useless things. I've got a few fruits and a jar of jelly I've made, but these are way more impressive!

I want to make a bunch of crocheted food for my little siblings, since they love playing with that stuff and our old crochet food got lost.
