Nobody likes getting dumped, especially when it is done with the infamous ghosting tactic. It’s probably worse, as people just can’t figure out what went wrong, and they might even blame themselves.

The physical symptoms often coincide with the mental issues, making a break-up feel both physically and emotionally draining,” they add.
After all, people dream about spending their whole lives with this person, but when it disappears in the blink of an eye, it can be quite traumatizing. However, one really admirable quality of some people is their resilience in life. Despite all the pain they experience, they still have the courage to move forward with their lives.
But it can all crumble if an ex-partner re-enters the picture and starts pestering the person. Researchers highlight that post-separation cruelty is a sustained campaign of harassment, intimidation, control, and maltreatment by the ex-partner. It can harm the victim’s mental health and can cause them to feel extreme anxiety and depression.
No one should have to suffer so much just because their ex suddenly got bored with their life and decided to make a painful comeback. But these people don’t think there’s anything wrong with their actions and even feel no remorse about how it can affect their ex.
When a person cheats once, there’s a high chance that they will do it again
It seems like the same was true in the author’s case. Also, he was not faithful to her, and even wanted her to be his affair partner 2 days before his wedding. Well, infidelity is not really shocking, as we hear so many stories about it. According to a survey, 23.2% of men indicated that they had cheated on their current partner, knowing that it could jeopardize or hurt their relationship.
Another study found that 40% of unmarried couples report infidelity, and someone is three times more likely to cheat if they have done so in the past. However, some people still stay with their partners despite being aware of their affairs and unfaithful behaviors. It might not always be out of love, though, as some people remain out of fear of being alone, lack of anywhere else to go, or even financial issues.
Sometimes, it could also be because their partners manipulated them, but staying can be one of the toughest decisions that they have to make. We can judge people all we want, but we can never know what they might be going through. However, every person has a right to know, and I think the author did the right thing by telling his fiancée.
