I had this happen with the battery in my last laptop. It basically destroyed the damn thing. The repair guy said this happens when you don't let the battery drain periodically.

Ahrg... It came standard with 2x 1GB. The official spec says it can only handle 8GB max (2x 4GB, obviously) so I'm guessing they felt smart buying 1x 8GB and leaving the one in? Of course this is terrible for performance; and in practice it supports 2x 8GB.

And no-one has made the connection that the CCTV/network goes all funny when the microwave is on....

We had desks like these at a design/build company I worked for - particle board worktops, chosen by architects, smh. They were sagging in less than a year, and yes - some of us did use boxes to prop them up!

I see no problem with that. Its insulated, and when they replace it on next visit its OK
