This Woman Had The Best Comeback Ever To A Man Who Said To Stay Away From Women With Dyed Hair

Alexander J.A Cortes calls himself a “trainer,” “writer,” and “speaker,” and a life coach of all sorts but his recent tweets made a lot of women attribute quite a few nasty labels to him as well.

“Unnatural hair colors in [a] woman are a warning signal to stay away,” Cortes opened. “It’s an example [of] Aposematism – the phenomenon of poisonous animals in nature advertising their toxicity and lethality.”

He then went on to explain why men should stay away from women who use hair dyes. “You gentlemen want an obvious example of a red flag?” Cortes asked. “It doesn’t get more obvious than that.”

Immediately, people started replying to Cortes. And while some actually agreed with him, after Julie Grundy dropped the best comeback, many started expressing a different opinion.
One day later, Cortes gave men contradictory dating advice. “Don’t date women who are picky eaters,” he said. According to him, “How you do one thing is how you do everything,” and all the female picky eaters that he has encountered were “hesitant,” “not curious,” and had “fixed mindsets.” On the other hand, women he knew who loved new foods were “fun,” “adventurous,” and “always curious.”

Do think that this statement had to retract the previous one? Or their author is simply confused? Let us know in the comments.

Why do these types always pull the "this isn't attractive to men" card? Tell you a secret, they're not doing it for men. And men are not a hivemind, people happen to have different preferences.

I don't get what is going through the minds of guys who make arguments like "that is not attractive to men, ladies" as if everything a woman does is somehow with a purpose of attracting a male and often times that male in particular. Surprise, the world doesn't revolve around you. Same goes for women who make the same argument about men.

So... He picks a fictional comic character... to prove his point? Okay, then, let me counter that with... say, Sailor Mercury! Blue hair, kind heart, her sense of responsibility is just right and she's so smart and clever. Game on, people! Let's prove that guy wrong with our favourite comics characters! ♥

This is not about hair colour. This guy clearly hates women, and he has people listening to him, which is the scary part. It might be better to ignore him, and forward his information to the CIA or FBI or whoever tracks and studies incels.

To be honest, I used to dislike when people dyed their hair unnatural colors. But then I grew up, or something. As long as you are not hurting yourself or others, do what makes you happy. Anyway, the other week at work someone came through my line that I'm 99% certain was actually Psylocke of the X-Men. I never knew the lavender look could work in real life. She was absolutely stunning. I think she even had contacts in as well.

Guess what men, the world does not f*****g revolve around you. When a woman dyes her hair, she's doing it for herself, not for you. That pretty much goes for any other type of fashion we may do. Maybe they do think they are hot. But they don't care what other people think, it's only how they think alone. Also I love how these men seem to think that women who do this are all attracted to men and doing it for them when many of these women could be gay, and therefore they only care about what other women think of them.

When I color my hair, I choose a color that makes ME happy. IDGAF what other people think, unless of course they like it because then they are awesome. If you don't like wild hair colors, by all means don't date people who do. Everyone is going to be happier when you stay inside your own boring little lines and roles.

When you're in your teens & early twenties it's fun to manipulate your look. The problem is that this generation cannot seem to grow beyond a very childish, self-centered mindset & devote their lives to superficial self worship.

WHEN A WOMAN DIES HER HAIR SHE IS (probably) NOT DOING IT FOR A MAN!!!! In a more calm mater: Women do not dye their hair solely for the sake of men. Hair dyeing is a personal choice often driven by individual expression, confidence, and experimentation with personal style. Women may choose to dye their hair to reflect their personality, mood, or to simply try something new and exciting. While societal standards and beauty norms may play a role in influencing such decisions, ultimately, the choice to dye one's hair is about self-expression and empowerment rather than catering to male preferences.

That guy looks like a creep and I bet he was a little boy who got crushes on comic book characters who had blue or pink hair. Just think of manga, and all of the MEN who are hot for manga characters! I've had every color of the rainbow for hair color, and it was FUN and liberating. I never had so many compliments when I had my natural boring brown hair, but the colors, wow, people were ALWAYS saying great things about it. This guy can KISS OFF!! Anyways, he looks like a GIRL with that long curly greasy hair. Definitely not my idea of a "man" I'd want to mate with!!

The fact that he doesn't find it attractive is not the point of the post. The point is that people who spend so much time on creating artificial & unsustainable images are unhealthy because of that reason. It's a sign of self-centeredness, delusion, & an unhealthy obsession with self image.

I'm an old man (over 70) and I honestly think that some of the odd hair colors look good. The first time I saw a girl with blue hair, in Seattle about 20 years ago, I told her it looked good and she seemed a bit surprised to hear that from an old men. My granddaughter has had pink, green and blue hair and they all looked good. I think this guy is nuts to try to speak for all men.

I was thinking he seemed like a douche just from his photo, but I tried to keep an open mind. Then he started talking about SJWs and thots and it became clear that yes, he was in fact just a big ol' douchewaffle. I think colored hair is usually for the person with the colored hair, and not for much of anyone else, but I don't know. When I've done it it's always been for me and my happiness when I saw it it in the mirror, not to attract or repel anyone in particular.

I'm sure there are plenty of men who like coloured hair but it doesn't really matter either way. I only ever did it for myself because it actually made me feel happier. Colour can do wonders for your mental health, the world would be pretty boring without them. Someone who doesn't like seeing wonderful colours on people must be very boring and unimaginative and close minded themselves, I personally would hate to be around someone like that. I think people with that hair always look interesting bright and beautiful. Why in the world should any of us care what some strangers thinks of our life choices, That's the best funniest part about this he thinks his opinion is the only one that counts, It's laughable.

If by "trainer" he means a personal trainer, well the only thing I can say there is that it doesn't matter how beautiful you may make yourself on the outside, it isn't worth a dime if you're ugly on the inside.

Do you guys (the ones who agree with OP) think that maybe the girls/women who dye their hair a different color are doing it for themselves and NOT for you? Just because you don't like it and it's a turn off doesn't mean all men are like that. So girls/women, keep dying away til your heart's content. If I was younger and my hair wasn't so badly damaged I would do it myself.

And really I know quite alot of people who like when person dyes his/hers hair. And it really doesn't work as a warning sing, actually it's a great conversation starter :D

Haha what an absolute chump, inadequate piece of c**p. I bet he has the most thrilling conversations, he seems very intellectual, great spelling and all that. My wife dyes her hair all colours of the rainbow, she has bright, leafy green at the moment and she is a child counselor who spends hours patiently listening and talking to traumatised children who have been through physical and sexual abuse but yeah because she dyes her hair she is toxic and mental, not an absolutey caring woman who is amazing. He mentions that animals use this defence, yes snakes frogs and birds, things that are nothing like a a mammal, you twat.

Dude, I have maroon dyed hair - This is like me saying that dudes with dreadlocks are unattractive (personally I like it). They don't do it to impress me or get me to like them. They do it for them, to show they are colorful people. I just dyed my hair because I like Maroon 5, not because I'm "poisonous". It shouldn't matter what color her hair, eyes are, how much she weighs. She is beautiful.

What did I find unattractive when I was young..big men with brown hair and hairy chests. What did I marry? A big man with brown hair and a hairy chest. This idiot has no idea what he is really attracted to, but if he lives with the mindset that any woman with colored hair is crazy and, therefore, not worth dating..he may miss out on the girl of his dreams. I only got lucky because I ignored my "standards" for one night, and it was the best decision ever! I realized it wasn't appearance I was attracted to...it was how I was treated that was attractive. And this guy sounds like he had a bad experience with a girl that dyed her hair. I got news for ya buddy! Hair dye doesn't affect crazy..they're born with it or learn it from mom. And their hair could be blonde, brunette, red head, or purple with green polka dots..you'll never see it coming. But keeping yourself out of a section of the dating pool because you are afraid of what may happen...well..good luck with being lonely.

I'm in the middle here. On the one hand, he's got the right to not find women with green/purple/orange/whatever hair unattractive. On the other, its just hair color, for crying out loud and he's making too much out of it. (Personally, I don't find neon-colored hair all that attractive, either, but hey, if that's what floats your boat, you do you, sweetheart.) Either way, her implying that he's a predator for having physical preferences when it comes to women is sexist b******t. Utterly, completely unacceptable sexist b******t and she should not be celebrated because of her sexist b******t. Quite the contrary. And for the record, none of the women who responded with pictures of their circus-colored hair refuted him at all. Quite the contrary, a lot of them proved his point quite succinctly.

Are we going to address the fact that he wears his hair long in a feminine way? Is it to attract males? Because in his mind all we women do is to attract males .... Perhaps is just his own subconscious way of warning women to stay away from a male who's grooming needs exceed those of his female counterparts?

What person, female or male, wouldn't want to follow the sage "life advice" of a 29 year old whose world revolves around health, fitness, and (apparently) Twitter (always a font of clearly thought out sentiments!). Gosh, I bet he has lots of time to ponder his own brand of wisdom while working out, being a self-proclaimed "writer" (I guess Tweeting is now considered 'writing'), "speaker" (pontificating to all the other bros at the gym, as well as all those fortunate females oh-so-lucky enough to have him sidle up to them at the club or juice bar), and conditioning those long, flowing locks and maintaining just the right amount of stubble. I bet this D-bag probably knows "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" by heart.

As long as we're splitting hairs (no pun intended) how about how unattractive it is for men to wear their pants halfway down their a*s. Here's a tip fellas..wearing your pants like that screams scrub..thug..degenerate. It says..I'm going to be in an out of jail, I'm never going to hold a steady job, and when the kids show up..I won't be found within a 100 yards of the mother. And if fellas that wear their pants in this fashion want to argue..tell me one good reason why wearing your pants halfway down your butt, exposing your undies..a task that makes it damn near impossible for you to walk unless one hand is grasping your waist constantly..is in anyway a fashion statement or attractive to the opposite sex.

I agree with Cortes & the toxic responses from the women with unnatural hair colors seem to support his argument for staying away from them. At the very least, the amount of time these people (men & women) spend on their appearance indicates a high level of superficiality, self centeredness, & prob. narcissism, all of which prove they are toxic.

got to say, from my own personal experience he hit the nail on the head with this one. I've never met a women who dyed her hair unnaturally that wasn't bat s**t crazy. it is an extreme choice to dye your hair unnaturally and for the most part (i said for the most part calm down sjw's) you have to have a job out of the norm to actually be able to dye your hair an unnatural color so naturally eccentric people will be the ones doing this. i think maybe he is right in saying that most women who dye their hair an unnatural colors are "crazy" but maybe he could have explained it a little better than comparing them to animals who do it for protection lol. Maybe that they are eccentric and creative and to some people that could be considered "crazy", but, again, in my personal opinion who the hell wants a plain jane girl? date the crazy ones they are more fun and keep ya guessing, just have to know how to reign them in, hell, i have to be reigned in sometimes too.

A person has an opinion and so other persons feel the need to "destroy" him on twitter/ tumblr/ buzzfeed? Why? Why are people not allowed to have an opinion anymore? I've always preferred natural hair and I don't get why so many women have to dye it, but it's their business and I've nothing against it.

It's fine to have an opinion, as long as you don't insult people for no reason (like OP). The problem with dudes like that is they think their opinion is everyone's business and how dare women not do everything to look attractive to random men?

This is not an epic shut down.. Not saying I agree with him 100% (he is clearly generalizing) but he is sort of right. A lot of aggressive, angry, feminist women color their hair blue or whatever these days. That doesn't mean everyone who colors their hair is like that. Anyone can do whatever they like with their looks, but a lot of the time it is some sort of political statement.

I don't get what is going through the minds of guys who make arguments like "that is not attractive to men, ladies" as if everything a woman does is somehow with a purpose of attracting a male and often times that male in particular. Surprise, the world doesn't revolve around you. Same goes for women who make the same argument about men.

Men who publicly state that their female preferences are the "right" one tend to be unadventurous, intolerant, controlling and hate independence in women.

Doesn't matter what the reason is, it is still spending more time and money to create an unrealistic & delusional self-image that is a sign of an unhealthy psyche.

The long and the short of it ladies, this is the guy your mom always warned you about. Just because you don't like it and it's a turn off doesn't mean all men are like that. So girls/women, keep dying away til your heart's content.

What. the f**k. is going on through these men's heads. "I can't get a girl to love me/I dated a girl who was 'crazy' and she happened to have blue hair" not only is this INCREDIBLY misogynistic and sexist, the "you have a mental illness if you have brightly colored hair" is just bigotry and ableist, and as a person with an ACTUAL mental illness, I f*****g can't stand BRIGHTLY COLORED HAIR being compared to suicidal thoughts and having panic attacks every day. So shut the F**K up.

That man is the crazy one, he don´t know the hello he talkin´ about. Just because we die our hair any color, doesn´t mean that we´re crazy! We do it for ourselves, to be so brave and show that we are stronger than our inner us. One more thing. ¨How many times have you watched suicide squad, Alexander?¨

And I just came back yesterday from the hairdresser with a nice new 'Today-I-encountered-no-female-hate-van dyke brown-and-little-happy-trees-purple! Sigh!! What colour would fit my "complexion"?

Are we going to address the fact that he wears his hair long in a feminine way? Is it to attract males? Because in his mind all we women do is to attract males .... Perhaps is just his own subconscious way of warning women to stay away from a male who's grooming needs exceed those of his female counterparts?

I'm thinking that I need to add a touch of color to my hair. After 26 years of marriage, I think my husband is already well acquainted with and use to my particular brand of crazy. He'll look at me and say "oh, you did a thing". He likes tie-dye anyway.

If it bothers you, stay away, no big deal. There are far more women around then there are men so if you want one who doesn't do this, it shouldn't be a problem. If no one is attracted to them, they will change it.

Of course the argument of the original poster is rididuclous. However, most of the aggresive replies full of swearing and insults seem to prove him right. We should stand up against hate posted on social media, but against random opinions? Ignoring them is the best choice.

I don't know where you're getting the idea that the responding people are being aggressive when they most certainly are not. They are simply making the correct point that whatever we women do, it does NOT revolve around men. And don't do things for men. We do them for ourselves.

Some chick with different colored hair hurt is little feels and so now, he's taking it out one ever woman with different colored hair. Also, you can't speak for all men. Plus this has nothing to do with women who color their hair differently, it has something to do with the women this man is picking. I promise you, this is not the first woman with rainbow hair to have f****d him over, he's drawn to theses type of women. They just happen to have rainbow hair.

Was he joking...? Because it's so obnoxiously funny that it has to be a joke. haha! There are plenty of non -fictional examples of crazy people who have naturally colored hair. Like Aileen Wuoronos, the prostitute serial killer. Or Brenda Spencer, the school shooter who said she did it because she hates Mondays.
