It is sometimes said that Eastern Europe is the mysterious lover of Western Europe. Both are different sides of the same coin, but what rationality, principles, law and order would mean for the Western counter-part, the irrational and mysterious may mean for the other.
If compared to people, Eastern Europe will be that person who will deceive a regular traveler from the West. Ideally, it would be a married man, who happens to forget about his perfect wife back home, as soon as he crosses from Germany to Poland; who will have the affair for the weekend, then returns, like nothing have happened, but is aware that his heart has been mystified, and that his ratio has failed.
