Eight out of ten dentists agree: holding a grudge is terrible for your enamel. Yet most of us still grind our emotional molars when someone cuts in line or emails “per my last message.” This light-hearted hate language quiz helps you spot the patterns behind those salty sighs and midnight rants so you can swap drama for inner calm.

Be honest, and by the end you’ll know whether your default shade is snark, silence, or something spicier. Self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and healthy communication style are just some of the friendly buzzwords we might be whispering in your ear. Grab a mug, settle in, and let’s translate that simmering side-eye into something constructive.

Words of discouragement here as well. Off-topic, but that red Gameboy Color is giving me super nostalgia. My GBC (teal) is sitting in my study; still works perfectly.

Many of those questions did not have any answers I would choose. I mean comfort snack? Chocolate, duh. Album for simmering anger? Has to be Some Girls by the Rolling Stones.

Lack of Recognition Being overlooked stings most for you. Every slight feels like backgrounding your soundtrack. You stew in quiet resentment and keep mental scoreboards of missed thank-yous. Try vocalizing achievements or needs directly instead of assuming no one sees you. Celebrate tiny wins yourself, then invite others to join; recognition often follows modeled behavior.

Alienation Silence is your shade-throwing strategy. You retreat, ghost, or build higher walls whenever tension sparks. While solitude can be restorative, chronic disappearing acts make allies feel shut out. Experiment with small disclosures—share one feeling or concern instead of vanishing completely. Gradual openness turns your fortress into a drawbridge, not a moat. Also, try the Love Language finder instead by clicking here.

And for all of you who enjoy astrology, it just so happens that I'm a Libra! Unjustness Fairness is your north star, and skewed scales send you into motion. You flag rules, cite precedents, and campaign for balanced treatment until the playing field is level. Admirable as that is, not every hill is worth the full legal brief. Before rallying the troops, breathe and rank the offense on a 1–10 scale: anything under a 5 might deserve a lighter touch.

There's a den of foxes close to my house. Unfortunately the cubs come into my garden. My dachshunds have killed 3 that were in the garden over the past couple of years. Now I let them bark for a minute or so before opening the back door. Hopefully that's enough to get the cubs to scarper.
