It's depressing, but not really shocking. I was born, and spent the first 27 years of my life living all across the US. The quality and intelligence of the average american has decreased sharply in the 38 years i've been alive, while entitlement, willful ignorance and aggression have been steadily rising. Americans are brought up to believe that america is the greatest, bestest most number one-ingest country in the world despite so much evidence to the contrary. It's a $hit show, and the worse everything gets, the more people allow themselves to be distracted by unimportant bull$hit that plays on peoples outrage, so nefarious, damaging stuff like this can be maneuvered into place. It's embarrassing, it's shameful, but for anyone that's been paying attention it's also expected.

They do NOT teach Social Studies, Ethics, any History classes or other valuable material to learn about the values of life. I loved it when Jesse Waters went to college campuses asking easy questions which they did not have a clue. Yea, it's happening everywhere the Cristian fundamentalist have crwaled out of the woodwork of our institutions and are forcing their dogmas like in the inquisition.

And not just in that....in racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights., human rights in general. Not to mention in environmental causes! What we have is a bunch of narcissistic, greedy, old white men who want to send America back to some racist, homophobic, misogynistic country that NEVER existed in the first place!

Can't upvote this enough. My dogs were both rescues from Mexico. My first one was chained to a chair as a puppy and my second one was living on the streets. Can't imagine the trauma they went through.

My doggy comes everywhere with me she a big dog, 14 years old and she is so happy just being out with me. Most people thing she's 8 pr 9. I'm sure it has a lot to do with her being with me all the time.

And you won't get it cuz you sound like a reasonable person. Hurting animals is what psychopaths do (and I don't use that word lightly) or people with zero self esteem. They either get pleasure from seeing something that can't defend itself being hurt or their morbid control of the animal makes them feel like they're in control and the fear that their animal abuse stokes in other people is misread as respect.

I'm sorry your peoples are so close minded. My hometown was the same, nobody was safe to come out until they were grown and left town. I remember one particular moment in the "christian" church I was forced to attend where the pastor made an announcement to the entire congregation about a former member who had just graduated highschool and moved away for college and the "sin" he is living in my having relations with other men. That solidified in my mind, "Nope! Definitely can say shít about my sexuality!". If you're in the US, come to the west coast and the average human will accept your beautiful self as you are.

There’s a difference between peaceful protests and rioting. Destruction and violence over things is rioting. Holding up signs and marching for protests is not rioting, but peaceful protesting. Grand Rapids had to deal with a lot of damage due to some riots and heavy looting, I forget why, but it was a demonstration of sorts, idk.

When this happened, the state of Maryland said that women from other states would be welcome here. And a new clinic was built right by the border with West Virginia..
