I love the Outlander Series. The amount of research the author did is amazing.

The Odyssey by Homer. I found the book when I was 6 years old at a yard sale. My grandmother bought it for me for 50 cents. My book fell apart 7 years ago and I was so sad! But my hubs surprised me with 2 more copies so it’s all good! It’s a story about a great journey to get home. There’s romance and adventure and even a bit of mystery! Greek classic. I prefer romance novels these days over most books but I always reread The Odyssey. :)

On Thin Ice by Jamie Bastedo. I first picked it up at my school library and loved every minute of it, and I still do 15 years later, despite it falling under a young adult. I also love the young adult collection of books by Eva Ibbotson, despite how predictable they can be, and the Outlander series.

The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley. I started reading her books because one of them has my name as the title (and is my 2nd favorite book). I have now read almost all of them and I love how her books connect with each other even though they do not need to be read in order. If you have not read Kearsley yet I highly recommend her!! It is a mix of historical fiction with paranormal elements.
