I have gotten in trouble for a lot of things but, whats the dumbest reason you have gotten in trouble.

In high school on my birthday, a friend tied a balloon to my purse. My home room teacher sent me to the office for disrupting his class. The balloon just floated silently. I never touched it.
When I was a teen I was a counselor at a camp for 6th graders. The biggest rule was ‘No Running’ in the cabins area. One night one of my campers punched another one in the eye and pulled her eyebrow piercing out of her head. (Yes, she was 11 and had an eyebrow ring.) She was covered in blood. I ran for the camp supervisor’s cabin, which was only the next cabin over. Got the girl cleaned up and had her go to the local emergency room for stitches. When I got my counselor review a few weeks later I saw that they lowered my rating BECAUSE I RAN around the cabins!!! I am still not over it. It’s only been 25 years.Sorry child safety is not a valid excuse for breaking the rule.
When I was in elementary school I got in trouble for kicking the playground fence. I did it out of pure frustration since every single day on the playground I went to each play group and got different variations of, "Sorry, we don't want to play with you". Some were kind about it and others were just brutal. Every single day this happened, and I would eventually just play alone. The rejection was a lot for me at 7 years old, so one day in anger I kicked the fence and a teacher caught me in the act. They didn't try to see why I was doing it. They basically wrote me off as a destructive kid that had no respect for the school. They sent me to another classroom for the day where I just sat there in a desk facing the wall. They called it 'being bounced' which was my school's form of detention.
