223 Lb Woman Reveals What 2 Years Of Fitness Does To Your Body, And Her Transformation Is Unbelievable
If you want to lose some weight, this story will definitely inspire you to tackle those excess pounds Rocky-style. Esbeidy Barrera was unhappy with her body, so she decided to make a change and hasn’t looked back ever since.
“Being the socially awkward/lame person that I am, I’m internally screaming because I’m a few pounds down from last time I weighed myself,” the 19-year-old writes. “I’ve never been this darn happy.”
Barrera claims she allows herself an occasional OREO cookie or other dirty pleasure. “I don’t believe in diets, <…> I just try to be careful.” She eats everything, only in moderation and it’s clearly working wonders! Combined with regular cardio and weight training, this helped Barrera to reduce her weight from 223 lbs (101 kg) to 144 lbs (65 kg) in slightly less than 2 years.
“I’m still alive from working out twice a day (if work doesn’t get in the way), waking up at 5 am to go to the gym, be at school at 8 am and then go to work until 11 pm BUT I got goals to reach.” If you ask me, she definitely deserves to be in Bored Panda’slist of inspiring people who shredded unwanted pounds, using willpower and hard work.

“Absolutely gorgeous,” one commenter said. “Congrats and keep it up! You’re stunning”
She most certainly does deserve to be in "Bored Panda’s list of inspiring people". And I can see why she still weighs in at 144lbs. Just look at those muscular thighs. Its all in sleek muscle weight. She's one beautiful young lady, and serves as an inspiration to one and all. Thumbs Up!
I honestly thought this was click bait... but what'ya know? This ended up to be inspiring/motivational!
Probably more like five if she's just getting off work at 11. If this is five days a week, it's not a heathy schedule.
Load More Replies...You can't outrun a bad diet. Losing weight is 95% what you eat and 5% physical activity. She might not be dieting, but she's watching what the eats and she obviously is doing it right. I do not want to take anything away from her achievements, it's amazing, she is an inspiration. But people need to stop the b******t about shredding pounds at the gym - you shred them in the kitchen and the gym helps you get fit, two very different things. Telling people than just going to the gym will make them lose weight set unrealistic expectations for them and will lead to disappointment and frustration. It's not helpful.
You're right. But then, I noticed that when I do sports my body is naturally craving fo healthier foods anyway. And I get full with less. But then that might not be the case for everyone.

30 mins for 30 days can burn a lot of fat and work all parts of your body, in fact i'm going to do that this month
Exercise "burns" a very minimal amount of "fat" compared to the number of calories you actually ingest every day. If you want to "burn" fat you'd better start eating differently.
Load More Replies...As I have believed and tried to pass on, EXERCISE IS THE CURE. Our bodies are made to work, lack of physical demand from our modern conveniences has increased obesity. Once you embrace that physical activity- even in small ways such as actually raking leaves vs using a leaf blower- you will see the benefits. And as far as diet is concerned, as you exercise more, your body actually craves the better foods i.e not junk or over processed foods and you do eat LESS. Those who wish to lose weight must keep in mind how the body works. It must be exercise and a CHANGE of what you eat, not "getting on a diet" since getting on a diet means you will get off of it as well. You have to change how you approach food. Take a class in nutrition and your eyes WILL be opened.
