Enter a top-secret (not really) AI app, Photoleap. This fancy bit of tech takes photos of our rescue doggos and spits out, well, crocheted versions of them. Think of it as the ultimate Instagram filter for the non-shedding, cuddle-ready kind.
The results? Pretty good actually, as long as you don't look too closely. 8-year-old Buddy does look wired on caffeine but we can assure you that in real life, he's an amazing calm lad who wouldn't touch a coffee.
We did start to encounter problems when we tried to crochetfy a Spanish Mastin though, we are feeling Princess Leia vibes.
You might just fall in love with both the real-life pups and their gloriously wonky crocheted counterparts (although cuddling the yarn versions does sound amazing, a warm home for these Spanish shelter dogs is top-tier fantastic.
