We Wanted To Change Your Opinion About Cactuses So We Made Them Pleasant To Touch

Hi there! For a long time we have been looking for new interior ideas. It should have been something unique, fashionable, creative and modern. Something that could perfectly match any design and would be loved both by kids and their parents.

You have already heard about my love to succulents. However, I also have a lot of cactuses and peyotes, which I love as well. So suddenly I was bumped with the idea: Everyone knows that cactuses are, mildly speaking, not so pleasant to touch. So the decision was simple: We should change the public opinion about them. So we made cactus cushions! To make them I cooperated with a good friend of mine, Olena Kriuchkova, an owner of HandyHappyShop (handyhappyhearts.etsy.com), who is a talented designer and expert with the needle. She chose colours and materials and made several cactuses. They were so nice that I immediately chose one for me! Then she made more cushions and we found ourselves in the kind of cactus paradise!

Talking about pillows themselves, they are made of cotton (some of velvet) and filled with hollowfiber. They are very nice to touch and to look at, and will perfectly decorate any room, especially a playroom. They are bright, funny, unique and safe! Cushion can be used either as a stuffed toy or housewarming/birthday gift. You can also use it as a compact travel pillow.

Moreover, my mom was also inspired with my ‘cactus’ idea. She created beautiful table decoration – knitted woollen cactuses which are planted into tea cups.
